Duverticulosis: Diverticulosis is a benign and common incidental finding on ct scan. I am assuming that you have not been hospitalized for antibiotic treatment of infected diverticulitis. Many things can cause pain, such as gastritis, reflux esophagitis, etc. Get a referral to a gastroenterologist for evaluation.

EGD: You need endoscopy-you likely have peptic ulcer disease or non-ulcer dyspepsia. H.Pylori is only 1 among many causes. Negative ct in 2012 is of no value in light of current symptoms and is not the most sensitive test anyway. Ibuprofen is a significant risk factor.
