Sleep, exercise, med: One's doctor is the best person to ask individual advice, but in general fibromyalgia is treated by optimizing restful sleep, a graded exercise program, and medicines are an optino. They act on pain centers and nerve tissue. Cognitive behavioral therapy can also be helpful.

OMM: Carefully-applied osteopathic manipulation, from the hands of a skilled do, can often be very effective for treating the pain of fibromyalgia, i suggest tracking down a do who uses omm to treat fibromyalgia and see what they can do for you.

Pain pills: ? which meds approved for fibromyalgia (FM). Only ones are non-opiate meds that treat one symptom - pain. Impossible to develop "FM med" since FM is "umbrella label" for collection of symptoms. FM label has array of causes (femaleness, childbirth, hypermobility, obesity, mechanical injuries, prolonged inactivity due to disease). Each patient's causal array requires customized therapeutic program.
