Palm lacerations: Heal well. Flaps are best sutured or if under tension gently approximated. Cleaning the wound to remove foreign material is esential. Good basic wound care prevents complications. If contaminated wounds that are not cleaned out fully or are from dirty areas such as farm or animal waste or bites shouls not be tightly closed or at times they are left open. Rather than think "fast' think safe.

Immobility: Wash it apply antibiotic ointment. Cover it and immobilize the area. Check on your tetanus status.
