I have not evacuated my bowels (have peed regularly) for roughly 72 hours after the end of a bout of stomach flu (heavy diarrhea). what should i do?

No worries: It may be ok. If you are back to normal, otherwise, and hopefully you will move soon. It does happen that irritated bowels work somewhat irregularly after they are over the illness. Drink plenty of fluids and avoid what potentially can cause recurrence of the upset - caffeinated beverages, dairy, etc.

Hang in there: You probably haven't evacuated your bowels in a few days because there is nothing there to evacuate! after people have "heavy" diarrhea, they can clear out most or all remaining stool in the colon. It can sometimes take a few days for it to build back up enough to produce normal bowel movements again.
