Anal fissure surgery: If gas escapes, there is still weakness. Have you discussed this with the surgeon. He/she knows what they found and what extent they went to.. Leakage of fluid and stool is more of a problem..Sounds like the "kegel" exercise might help.. Try sitting in warm water to soften the scar. Good luck.

Have had an itchy anus for long now. My GP examined it and prescribed schiriproct ointment for a fissure, which helps temporarily when applied, but not solving it. Also sometimes I may get slight leakage like the sphincter isnt closing right ?
