Legality: One is legal and one is not. The "weed" is an illegal substance and can be mind altering, whereas the cigarettes are legal, but can certainly be dangerous to your health in many ways! the moral of the answer, you should not do either! best wishes.

One's legal: Weed, marijuana or cannabis is considered illegal to use in the states, at least recreationally. However, while cigarettes are legal to smoke, they are no safer than weed. Both do nothing to improve your health. Best to avoid inhaling them.
