A member asked:

For what reasons might water come out of my eyes when i blow my nose?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tear Duct Issue: Your tears drain into the nose from small ducts in the nasal corner of the eyelids. There are valves in the ducts that prevent flow from the nose to the eyes. In some people, especially after tear duct surgery, these valves can fail, allowing air, water, and mucous to flow up into the eye when the nose is blown hard.
