It is hard to figure: Out where you are going if you don't know where you are starting from. Encourage you to start with an evaluation by a psychiatrist or a psychologist. Seeing a pyschologist for talking therapy is especially important. This will give you an opportunity to explore who you are here and now. You can also address what life changes need to be made to be happy. With help, comes hope.
