Causes can be varied: The causes for generalized anxiety disorder can be varied. Often the various anxiety disorders run in families, but it is not absolutely clear whether the cause is hereditary or learned behaviors. If your parents tend to be anxious & high strung, they have taught you to relate to the world the same way.
