Unusual&needs exam: Most bruises heal and disappear within 2 to 6 weeks.But rarely you can have a hematoma(collection of blood under the skin )and bruise as well and the hematoma can get calcified and you can still see the kind of swelling and discoloration in skin, but that is quite rare.I will recommend whatever it is have it checked by your doctor.
