YES: Any antibiotic can interfere with birth control. If you rely on birth control pills for preventing pregnancy then you should be aware that they are less effective by any dosing of an antibiotic. A treatment of pills for 10 days or even one IV dose can affect the bcp. You should use another form of birth control after receiving antibiotics.
