Cover: It and use neosporin and wait for new nail to grow in. Nails fall off from varies reasons. If its red, hot or pus contact podiatrist right away.

Cover it: Right now, just cover it with a bandaid. The nail will grow back normally with all things being perfect. Try to avoid more trauma to the area and keep it clean to avoid fungal infection.
