Possibly: When we fail to consume enough calories to provide the energy we need to function, our body can compensate by storing any food consumed as fat for fear that it will not be getting enough energy in the future. Making certain that your daily caloric intake is sufficient for someone of your healthy size is the best way to prevent this.
