Elbow pain: Is a very common complaint.Tennis elbow, golf eras elbow, and bursitis can develop following a simple strain or trauma. R.I.C.E. ( rest, ice, compression, elevation ) can help.If pain persists, see your doctor. Also, try to figure out what activity caused the inflammation in the first place, and stop doing it. ( hint: what movement or activity makes it hurt?).

Olecranon Bursitis: The olecranon bursa is a thin sac that cushions the loose skin and the pointy bone at the tip of the elbow. If it becomes irritated or inflamed, fluid can accumulate in the bursa and bursitis will develop. It is tender and sensitive to pressure. Ice, NSAIDs and avoidance of direct pressure helps. Can take weeks to resolve. If no improvement after a month of treatment, see your doctor.
