Retained feces: If there was an actual bowel obstruction it would likely cause extreme pain. However with this length of constipation you may have retained feces at a higher level then your finger's reach. Don't know if the blood on your finger was related to trauma in introducing the finger. Other causes of rectal bleeding include hemorrhoids, fissure, fistula, cancer, or bowel infection/ inflammation. >>.
