No: If you have fever with COPD or emphysema you might have an infection such as bronchitis or pneumonia developing. If yu really do have a fever you should see your dr to be sure. Carbon dioxide building up in body with these lung coditions is often a sign of progrressive lung infection in presentation with fever.
