Steroids: Yes this is likely the explanation. Oral steroids can interfere with your hormones as can any stress on the body that can change your menstrual cycle. As long as you are sure you cannot be pregnant than no need to worry it will more than likely go back to the schedule in the next few months. If not visit with your gyn.

Took 40 mg dose of prednisone on Tuesday. My period was due Sunday but it did not come. Took another 40mg dose Monday. Still no period 5 days late.
