A member asked:

Is it bad to sleep with your hair up in a bun with a stretchy cotton headband?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No unless: If the headhand pulls the same hair follicles repeatedly and you pull it really tight, then you can develop a condition traction folliculitis, where the tension on the hair pulls at the hair follicle and that can cause irritation. Other than that, no adverse effects to your health.
