If uterus is scanned.: And abdominal and kidney ultrasound does not normally include the pelvis/uterus. You can ask your doctor to obtain a pelvic ultrasound as well. If the uterus is for any reason included in the abdominal/kidney scan, pregnancy can be determined if you are far enough along to be able to discern a gestation sack or fetus.
