Estrogen dominance?: If both breasts are sore and you have heavy periods, you most likely have a problem with estrogen dominance. Breast are sensitive to estrogen, particularly if you are low in iodine and if you have inadequate progesterone. Your hormones may be out of balance, even at your age, especially if you have a diet high in trans-fats and additives.
