Hydrate well: You actually can't make rhabdomyolysis go away. It does so naturally when the cause is stopped. Rhabdomyolisis is muscle injury from many possible causes, including trauma, overuse or drugs. Muscle enzymes are released into the blood and in severe cases kidney failure can occur. The muscle heals by itself. Hydration helps clear the enzymes from the body. In severe cases, hospital care is needed.

Slowly: As long as your kidneys working well with good hydration you should recover in a few days.

Depends on the route: If your kidney function is normal, and the offending activity or injury stopped, copious oral hydration should help your rhabdomyolysis resolve in a matter of days for mild cases. For more severe cases, intravenous fluids are sometimes necessary. In other cases still, the kidneys can sustain temporary injury which also requires intravenous fluids. All scenarios usually involve several days.
