See allergist: It is very easy to become "addicted" to the otc nasal sprays that contain oxymetazoline that are in afrin, neosyneprhine, etc. This is called rhinitis medicamentosa. Treatment can be challenging but through prescription nasal sprays and sometimes prednisone, an allergist or ENT doctor can assist you in getting off that spray!
