I'd try not to think: About whether it is normal or abnormal. Rather, if it is a problem or not for the individual situation. It may not be very uncommon in certain life situations. Continued active sexuality can be wonderful too. It depends on all the other factors in the picture. Hope this helps.

No, it's not: It's neither normal nor natural to have no sexual desire after 50. The possible factors leading to this are many, though. You can see your doctor for a general health evaluation -- may want to draw some hormone levels also. Loss of sexual desire can be a symptom of depression; treatment can help. Conflict in relationship can affect sexual desire also -- in which case couples' therapy can help.
