You can't: You can only control your life. You can not stop an addict unless they want to stop. Also, examine what behaviors you exhibit which "support" the addiction...And stop doing them.

A few comments: 1. Marijuana is NOT addicting in the classical sense but can be habituating, and chronic frequent use can eventuate in withdrawal, indifference, lack of initiative and productivity, and passivity. 2. Drug rehab programs may solely be useful if the user is committed. 3. Sometimes "tough love" by avoidance and distancing works over time.
