It is obviously your: Choice. You need to learn more about why you cut & alternative coping mechanisms. Self inflicted mutilation by cutting is one way that some people cope. It is not a healthy coping mechanism. People may cut themselves because they feel emotionally numb & it allows them to feel something. Some cut to distract from anxiety, depression or stress. Some people cut as a form of self- punishment.

What kind of help?: Do you want help to get your boyfriend to stop bothering you about your self-cutting, or with your cutting itself? Your boyfriend clearly has a different view of health than you do. He sees you doing something self-harmful. What do you see? Help for self-cutting is widely available, if you want it. If you don't, it's your choice -- but your illness & conflict w/boyfriend is likely to worsen.
