Ice, ice, bracing: Start first with resting, staying off it completely. Wrap it with compressive wraps like an ace bandage, use lots of cold compresses or ice. Depending on your size, try antiinflammatory meds. If pain continues after 1-2 weeks, make an appointment with your doctor for referral to a specialist. You may need x-rays or more. I hope this helps!
