A member asked:

Need advice on what is the the best medcine for anginia pectoris besides nitroglycrin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Angina: We generally treat coronary artery disease with aspirin, beta blockers, calcium blockers, ace inhibitors and nitrates; statin drugs are also generally given. The combination of all these agents is more effective than any single medication.
