Your warts can : Go away with treatment either med or surgical however you can not get rid of the virus. Your sexual partner needs to know your history too as the virus is transmitted sexually and they are at risk. Even if you dont have active disease you can still transmit the virus. There is a vaccine available which diminishes the risk of cervical, vaginal and anal cancer but its given to females/males upto 26.
