Can it hurt to get a vasectomy?

It doesn't: Hurt me at all, but if you were to get one it could be mildly painful -- depending upon the skill of the urologist and a number of variables about your anatomy and the surgery and possible complications. Usually you're up and about the next day.

Of course,...: Some intraoperative and postoperative pain in or near vasectomy sites. But most of them tolerate well, even virtually "painless". In fact, I have almost never prescribed pain medication after vasectomy for age. Key is: understand and accept the fact - nothing is free but comes with price.
