Do people with dyslipidemia have a lot of pain?

Dyslipidemia: Dyslipidemia (usually very high cholesterol levels) does not cause pain until you have your heart attack (chest pain) or blockage of an artery in a limb (peripheral vascular disease). Another kind of dyslipidemia involves very high triglycerides (> 1000 mg/dl); this can cause acute pancreatitis, a very painful inflammation of the pancreas causing severe abdominal pain radiating to the back.
