Don't worry: Although we often think of green as meaning we have something really bad, it just means that there are many white cells present. You can have green mucous even with a cold, esp. First thing in the morning or if you haven't blown your nose in awhile. Unless things are worsening, give it time.

Green Mucous: This sure sounds like an infection more than a simple cold. I often view the myriad of symptoms combined with the thickness of color of the mucous to tell me when to treat a patient with antibiotics.
