You are not diabetic: You are not diabetic based on this. Type 1 dm is problem with complete lack of insulin. High Insulin level can be sign of resistance but Insulin level is not used to diagnose dm the blood sugar is. Ask the doctor to check a fasting blood sugar and and a1c if has not already been check to see if you are diabetic or prediabetic.
