Not necessarily: Has your body composition changed since before you started birth control pills? If you are at extremes of weight (obese or extra thin), you can miss periods. Your thyroid could also be to blame. You could consider seeing a health care provider to have some tests run. If you're unsure about your weight and health, consider calculating your bmi with an on-line calculator.
