Benadryl (diphenhydramine): U seem to depend on Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for symptom relief. There are many alternatives to treat your anxiety & colitis. Recommend evaluation by your pcp & referral to a psychiatrist to explore options.

Benadryl (diphenhydramine) Addiction: Yes, unfortunately. This is a very common addiction. With time and other substances it can lead to the disease of addiction that leads to isolation, despair and death. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is a sedative and it can make our day time activities sluggish and non-productive. Many people get in car wrecks the morning after taking Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for sleep or other reasons. I would very interested to know what else.
