Delayed ovulation: It is not uncommon for women to have a small amount of bleeding around the time of ovulation related to a brief, abrupt drop in estrogen levels mid-cycle. Given the bleeding, followed by your cycle 14 days later, I am going to suggest that you are ovulating later than you think. This could be confirmed with an over the counter ovulation predictor kit!
