Scientific Rx: A chronic disease not related to anything you did. If topical benzoyl peroxide fails after 2 weeks, get with your physician. Options will include topical clindamycin, topical retinoic acid derivatives, systemic antibiotics, and for hard cases a dermatology referral for isotretinoin. Dermatologist scarring for the scars when you settle down; fillers etc can help or keep them as seems best.
