A rough injury: Any orthopedic, podiatrist, or pmr specialist feel free to add detail: my pcp advice is simply rest, ice, oral and/or topical anti-inflammatories, and gentle, progressive foot stretching exercises. Follow your surgeon's plan. In addition to pt, eating a high protein diet and adding multivitamins to provide the nutrients needed to speed healing may help time is what it truly takes! take care.
