Parent: Have you asked the adult who took you to that appointment to see if they know why? I'm assuming you are concerned you were molested and i can't exclude that. An imperforate hymen might warrant an exam, recurrent yeast or urinary infections might warrant it. I suppose if your doctor was concerned that someone at home molested you that would be a reason too.
