Could be either: Your period could be late on either account - pregnancy or the stress of an infection. If you're unsure if you're pregnant, go ahead a get a home pregnancy kit just to be sure. Antibiotics can sometimes make birth control pills less effective. If the issue is unresolved, see your gyn or pcp to evaluate your situation further. Take care!

Take a test: Don't guess. Take a test. In today's world you do not need to wonder if you are pregnant or not based on symptoms. Pregnancy tests are available at any pharmacy and in minutes you will have your answer. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.

Test: It could be just a normal variation or irregularity of your cycle. You should get a pregnancy test if in doubt or if you think you could be.

Probably not preg: Most likely due to the infection. If no period in next couple of weeks, i'd check a pregnancy test.
