A member asked:

Do i have to take the pill continuously even on my period?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Follow the direction: Please read the directions for patients in the pill pack you are on as there are different numbers of hormone pills and placebos in different pills. You must take the hormone pills every day. You can skip the placebos (sugar pills) as long as you "stay on track". Some oral contraceptives require you to take a hormone pill every day for 84 days) check with your own gyn for advice on your pill.
