Appetite: Alcohol affects the liver and is a toxin to the liver. The liver regulates blood sugar through the products it makes. Also low blood sugar or blood sugars that are dropping rapidly drive appetite. So it is possible the alcohol is contributing to metabolic stresses. Best to get help with any addiction.
