RespiratoryInfection: Flu is an infection of respiratory tract caused by influenza virus. It spreads through inhalation of droplets coughed by infected person. It can start like a regular common cold but sometimes can be very severe & life threatening, especially in those with underlying lung or heart disease. Pneumonia is a general term for any infection that involves the lungs & causes fever, cough & x-ray changes.
