Yes: Alcohol has aot of hidden calories which causes weight gain in many persons. When you remove those calories there is a weight loss that depending on severity will result in facial change. If you were taxing your liver you may have been developing small spider like veins on the cheek and nose, these too may resolve or lessen as the liver heals.
