Pregnancy diabetes: Gestational diabetes is a condition of elevated sugar, induced by the changes in hormone levels during pregnancy. It does not cause pain.

Pain?: Not at all. The majority of women with gestational diabetes are managed by diet alone. Some women are asked to monitor their blood sugars and some require insulin. These are part of home treatment. They may be uncomfortable, but not really painful.
