Clarify: I am not sure what type of help you are looking for. I don't have knowledge about what type of educational issues are involved. If one decided to drop out of high school, a mom usually wouldn't be delighted. If the choice is to go to havard instead of yale - that is a different matter. The situation as presented is just too vague to be able to present you with responsible advice.
