I am being treated for hep c genotype 3. i take 400 mg copegus (ribavirin) 2x day and 180mcg peginterferon 1x week. i've developed mouth sores and burning. it hurts to eat. is this a reaction to the meds?

Most likely: If there is no other identifiable cause for the above, adverse effects to the medications is the only explainable choice. You are to talk to your treating doc about that as well.

Could be an allergy: You could be describing an allergic reaction to one or both of the meds. See your prescribing physician asap.
