Varies: If the oral temperature is take correctly, under the tongue with the mouth closed the entire time the thermometer is reading, it shouldn't be much different from rectal. Babies can't follow these instructions, so if you want' to accurately know a baby's temperature, do it rectally. All other methods are far less reliable (unless you ask someone trying to sell you something).
