Impossible to know: Without an examination and complete review of all symptoms would just be guessing. You may have had a spontaneous miscarriage or something else may be going on. If it continues, let your gynecologist examine you. Good luck.

See ob/gyn.: Hypomenorrhea also known as short or scanty menstrual periods. Get yourself examined by an ob/gyn. Must have a blood pregnancy test. If pregnancy is ruled out then consider ovarian under-activity, emotional issues( it suppresses the centers in the brain responsible for stimulation of ovaries and results in lower secretion of hormones ). Excessive exercise and crash dieting.
