Agree with Dr. B: Th brown color is from deposition of blood pigment on the stone. Color does not disclose the composition of the stone. Your doctor should get it analyzed at a laboratory. Whatever the composition, you can reduce your risk of recurrence by drinking enough water every day so that your urine is mostly colorless.
