Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate): Depending on the severity of the scalp carbuncles, any other health conditions you have, a reasonable dose could be 500 mg three times a day or 875 mg two times a day. This is just a normal dose range for your age and condition. Other conditions you might have may not make the dose above appropriate for you.
